the libertarian Democrat in me says that if you can get a fairer, better situation for yourself you have that right.Agree with Henry Abbott.Only caveat is some of the younger golfers,tennis players going pro at 17 or younger get their confidence destroyed early by getting hammered by the best, and never recover.

Why the hell NOT?!? Some of us had jobs at 16-17; he saw an opportunity & took it. Dude is 6'11", 260, & no kid his age or any college kid has no answer for him, like Moses Malone back in 1974 or Darryl Dawkins & Bill Willoughby in '75. I think it's a legit option, & if he pans out, he'll be the #1 pick in the 2010 draft.
