Singer-songwriter Camila Cabello is famous as solo artist with the hit single “Havana”. She began her career as the stand out member of Fifth Harmony. With the solo debut album Camila in 2018, she became the first singer in 15 years that stayed the longest at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Born Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, the artist was born in Cuba on March 3, 1997 and raised in Miami, Florida. She grew up listening to Alejandro Fernández and Celia Cruz. In 2012, the 15-year-old Cabello joined a singing competition show The X Factor’s second season. She was eliminated along with four people which later gathered in a girl group named Fifth Harmony. The judges decided to bring them back to the show as a group. After winning the competition in third place, Cabello and Fifth Harmony rose to stardom, became one of the most successful artist from the show. They released an EP Better Together in 2013 with the hit single “Miss Movin’ On” that topped the US music chart. It was followed with major success. The song successfully peaked the top of the Billboard singles chart, became Cabello’s first Top Ten song as a solo singer. At the end of 2016, Cabello announced her departure from the group and focused her solo career.
